What the provider statuses mean
Read Active, Adjacent, Watchlist, and Historical as directory classifications, not recommendations.

An Active or Direct provider publishes a current path for external sponsors to form, launch, or administer a relevant vehicle. The label says that an offering appears available. It does not verify fit for your transaction, guarantee service quality, or endorse the provider.
Adjacent
An Adjacent platform covers part of the operating stack but is not presented as a complete substitute for a direct formation or administration provider. It may provide software, accounting, records, cap-table, compliance, or another supporting capability.
Watchlist
A Watchlist entry appears relevant but does not yet have enough public evidence for the same classification as a direct provider. The missing evidence may concern availability, operating entity, jurisdiction, service boundary, or maturity. Treat the profile as a research lead.
Historical
A Historical provider is no longer presented as an available service under the reviewed identity. The profile exists to help readers understand older references, continuity, acquisition, closure, or migration questions. It should not be included in a current shortlist.
What no status means
No directory status is a recommendation, certification, safety judgment, or investment opinion. Statuses can change. Check the profile review date and open the cited official source before relying on one. If the evidence no longer supports the label, send a correction.
