How to ask a research question safely

Describe the public research problem without sending confidential deal or investor information.

Describe the decision boundary

Tell us which Run a Fund page you used, what public question remained unanswered, and which current source you already checked. A useful question names the structure, jurisdiction, provider category, or operating step without identifying investors or disclosing a private transaction.

We may use recurring public questions to improve a guide or help article. We cannot select a provider for you, review documents, determine legal or tax treatment, assess investor eligibility, or provide transaction-specific advice.

Keep sensitive material out of email

Do not send names or identity documents for investors, bank information, subscription agreements, tax records, cap tables, confidential offering documents, passwords, or private provider-account screenshots. Contact the relevant provider or qualified adviser for support involving an active vehicle or account.

For a published factual error, use the correction process. For a general research question, email hello@superscout.co.

Understand the data boundary

The public site requires no account and accepts no transaction data. Standard hosting and security systems may process ordinary technical request data. Read the privacy notice for the current details.

Did this answer it?

If the public research question remains unanswered, send the page and what you still need to establish. Do not send confidential deal, investor, banking, tax, or account information.
